Community Development How can you help?

How community development works

Communities around the world need help. ACC International Relief believes in addressing the issues of poverty and injustice, and we offer projects that bring change to entire communities.

Community development works on the premise that to be effective, not only do the symptoms of poverty - such as hunger and disease – need to be addressed in individual lives, but solutions need to be provided to the underlying causes of poverty that adversely affect whole communities.

We believe the best way we can assist is to empower and educate people to help themselves. ACC facilitates community-led decision making and provides tailored resources and training for sustainable development and growth.
